Today for Explore, we are learning to work together and the process of trial and error.  We are making a paper plane for Little Red Riding Hood to visit her grandmother quickly and safely.  We are trialling different models of paper planes.

Kyle and Ngavaine are wearing our beautiful Pae Ake Korowai.  We made it using our hands.

Kaitlyn wrote all these numbers at maths today.  She is very neat and accurate.  Well done Kaitlyn!!!

Pae Ake means "Grow with learning."  Today we grew some snap pea plants in the garden.

The Treaty of Waitangi
We read a story called "The Tree Hut Treaty".  The children in the story were arguing about who owned the tree hut.  So they decided to make an agreement about how they should use the hut.

We all worked together to make our own classroom hut.  We had to agree amongst ourselves as to how to make it.  Here are some photos of us.
